Episcopal Charities and Community Services (ECCS) is a network of 12 social service agencies organized as official agencies of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, and linked through the ECCS central office at the Episcopal Church Center in Chicago.

The dual ministry of ECCS provides life-changing opportunities for those in need to receive help and, for those who have the capacity to give, to share their talents and gifts. Through ECCS' ministries, those who look to ECCS or one of its partner agencies for help are encouraged by compassionate, generous acts of Christian service. Those who serve through ECCS discover the real satisfaction that comes from fulfilling God' s unique call in their lives. ECCS is a messenger of the "Good News," and conveys this messge of hope through public ministry to bring meaning and joy to people who receive and offer help.

ECCS earns the trust and good will of congregations, donors and other partners because they achieve results and expect mutual responsibility. For almost half a centruy, ECCS has supported the work of parishes and its agency partners. ECCS' commitment to solutions for communities by communites, makes it the premier resource for public ministry in the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. ECCS volunteers are called to make a difference in the lives of others and find their own lives transformed in the process.
