All Saints' Cafe

a four-star restaurant in a parish hall

Three times a year, our soup kitchen transforms into a restaurant offering our neighbors choice gourmet menu items rivaling the finest meals at Chicago's top restaurants.

Our next cafe is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, from 5:00PM - 7:00PM.

At the Cafe, we feed 150 of our homeless or hungry neighbors a five star meal, the likes of which have included scampi cappriccio, prime rib, and chicken kiev! We top that off with personal table service, a dining room decor extraordinare, and live music. For real, it rocks!!

We need waiters, bussers, dishwashers, cooks, hosts, beverage makers, bread and butter platers, dessert makers, prep cooks, decorators and shoppers.

You can help the day of, the day before or the week before depending on what you want to do, or on when you can help.

Mostly we need about 50 people from 4m to 8pm to take it from start to finish. A little decorating starts Saturday afternoon or Sunday after the 11am service for those who can't take it into the later hours.

If you know what you want to do, contact volunteer coordinator Alex Gee. If you have questions or want to volunteer for another day, contact Ed Bird.
