Enjoy the charm of historic Ravenswood at the 16th annual Ravenswood Run! Experience a top-notch event with a community feel. This unique 5K is truly a neighborhood race, running through scenic city streets, and benefiting two local charities.

WALK TO END HUNGER Join us Saturday, June 25, for the 26th Annual Hunger Walk Rally

Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 25, when the Greater Chicago Food Depository steps off for its 26th annual lakefront Hunger Walk to raise money and awareness for hunger relief in our community. Hunger Walk will take place at Soldier Field again this year. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m., and step-off is at 8:15 a.m.

100% of the funds raised by RCS walkers will go directly to the purchase of food for our Tuesday night Food Pantry and Community Kitchen. In 2010, Team RCS raised more than $8,000 to feed our hungry neighbors, and we haven’t had to write a check to the Greater Chicago Food Depository since! Like last year, transportation will be provided for all Team RCS walkers from All Saints’ to Soldier Field and back. Or, if you want to be in control of your own destiny, free parking is available at Soldier Field for Hunger Walkers.

All walkers who walk with Team RCS and submit a waiver the day of the event – regardless if whether they raise money or not -- help earn credits to purchase food for our Tuesday night neighbors. The more walkers we have, the more credits we earn. Come walk with us to help end hunger in our community!
