Other Services at RCS

On Tuesdays, during our Food Pantry and Community Kitchen hours, RCS offers these additional programs.

Ask a Nurse

Nurses in our clinic offer basic health screenings, health education, referrals and a listening ear as needed to our neighbors.

Oral Health Education

RCS volunteers offer oral health education and supplies as part of the SMILES Oral Health Program. This program is also available during RCS' second Saturday Market Pantry at Ravenswood School.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)

Neighbors visiting the RCS food pantry and community kitchen can meet with an RCS volunteer for assistance with a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly Food Stamps) application. Following completion of an online SNAP application at RCS, applicants will be contacted by the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) for a follow up interview and next steps to receiving SNAP benefits.

Pastoral Care, in partnership with All Saints Chicago

Pastoral conversation, provided by staff at All Saints Episcopal Church, is available on request.
