Looking ahead to 2009, Ravenswood Community Services will continue reaching out to the community to build relationships and to care for all who live and work in Uptown and Ravenswood. 

The RCS Hunger Coalition will seek out and create partnerships with businesses to feed the hungry and build awareness among leaders. 

RCS will monitor the economy as we move through a neighborhood feasibility study of opening a coffee shop in our neighborhood that would be a gathering spot for community groups and a place to hear and exchange stories about this area. 

As our numbers continue to increase, we are looking to upgrade our kitchen and become certified as a catering facility in the neighborhood.  Upgrading our kitchen would allow us to prepare food for larger numbers and to have a revenue generating facility when our kitchen is not in use for our programs.
